Excerpt from the "brief testimony and ministry information" document: 

"I was born and raised in a strongly traditional Muslim family who missed no steps in preparing me for life-long adherence to Islam. A few years ago I encountered Jesus Christ and  became a Christian. For that reason my father rejected me and threatened to kill me because of the new faith I found in Christ Jesus. I feared for my life and ran away to a different state with the help of other Christians in 1999. Since then I’ve been away from my family. I lived at the Gidan Bege ministry in Jos, Nigeria. God showed me that I should share the story he gave me with both Muslims and churches and every people group.

The Lord opened the door for me to go to South Africa to attend YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Discipleship Training School. After my training in South Africa, I felt more and clearly confirmed in God’s call for missions, and God provided the way for me to join YWAM Orlando to serve with them as I take my story to all peer groups around the globe."
