Family Man

Like the rest of his kids, Alice (left) and Betty (right) often come to see Arop translator Emil Ninkure at the translation office. Their brother David, (above) has been diagnosed with Tuberculosis. So this weekend, Emil and his wife, Alexia, are at the Aitape hospital having blood tests done for these and their other two still-at-home kids, Brianna and Mandy. Pray for accurate results and effective treatment.

Last week we had encouraging meetings with our Wycliffe “book team” in Orlando. We are more excited than ever about the book. Pray for the team as they decide on a title and other details related to publishing it.

We expect to get our book back from our editor on Monday and spend from then until Friday adding our last changes to it. Pray the Lord would lead us in all we add and all we remove this week.

Coming soon, Lord willing:
Dec. 3: Return to Upland, Indiana.
Dec. 5-9: Our last chance to edit our book.
Dec. 15: To Arlington Heights, Illinois, for Christmas celebrations with relatives in the Chicago area.

Dec. 23: We receive the book back from editors for our final approval.
Jan 3: We give approval of the final text of the book.
Mar 1(?): Book is finally published.
